Summary:
Onward Technologies is seeking a Junior Cybersecurity Technical Account Manager to join our growing Security Operations Center team. This is a role for someone seeking experience in managing cybersecurity for corporate environments, cybersecurity audits, compliance frameworks and cybersecurity policy creation. The ideal individual should possess a high sense of urgency, self-confidence, strong moral fiber and be results oriented. As a Junior Cybersecurity Technical Account Manager at Onward Technologies, you will be responsible for helping Onward Technologies current and future clients solve unique security challenges they are facing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as joint technical contact and advocate for new or existing clients and augment our Security Operations Center team
- Assist with onboarding new clients to Onward Technologies platforms
- Help maintain relationships and quality of service through regular client communications and visits, proactive health checks, product training and developing and sharing best practices.
- Assist with review, creation and revision of cybersecurity policies and processes.
- Research technical issues in a timely manner to understand remediation and plans of action.
- Help manage client cybersecurity audit engagements.
- Participate with incident response teams during security incidents and events.
- Create and conduct effective presentations for Quarterly Security Reviews.
- Create knowledge base content to capture new learning for reuse throughout the company and user base.
Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field, or equivalent cybersecurity experience and certifications.
- Experience or strong understanding of Windows & *nix platforms.
- Knowledge of enterprise technologies, security, and cutting-edge infrastructures always helpful (not required).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to quickly establish technical credibility.
- Team player, able to function independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and observational skills.
